Business Development Manager
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities for software products, SaaS solutions, and IT services across local and international markets
Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline; maintain accurate forecasting and reporting through CRM
Develop go-to-market and account penetration strategies for target industries and client segments
Lead client meetings, product demos, proposal development, pricing negotiations, and contract closure
Collaborate with technical, product, and marketing teams to translate client requirements into winning solutions
Build long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring retention, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities
Represent the company at industry events, expos, and networking forums
Monitor market trends, competitor movements, and emerging technologies to inform strategy
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
Experience Requirement
4+ years of business development or B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years in the tech/software/IT services industry
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of software development services, SaaS models, and technology solution selling
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills in English (and Bangla for local markets)
Proficiency with CRM tools (Odoo, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar) and modern sales prospecting tools
Ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, and move quickly without heavy supervision
Experience selling to international markets (US/UK/Middle East) is a strong plus
Key Competencies
Existing network of tech industry contacts or enterprise clients
Experience in a multi-business-unit or agency/conglomerate environment
Familiarity with AI, cloud, ERP, or digital transformation solutions
Hunter mentality with a consultative selling approach
