Betopia Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Commercial to lead and oversee all commercial operations, including import-export, supply chain coordination, and regulatory compliance. This role requires strong leadership, in-depth knowledge of commercial processes, and the ability to manage end-to-end operations while ensuring efficiency, compliance, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all commercial activities, including import, export, and local procurement
  • Oversee LC processes (opening, amendment, negotiation, and settlement)
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of all commercial and shipping documentation
  • Coordinate with banks, C&F agents, shipping lines, and international suppliers
  • Manage customs clearance, bonded warehouse operations, and regulatory compliance
  • Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely delivery
  • Analyze costs, duties, and commercial risks for optimization
  • Prepare reports for management, audits, and compliance purposes
  • Supervise and develop the commercial team
  • Support strategic planning and process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, VAT, tax, and customs regulations
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced reporting tools
Professional certifications in:
  • Supply Chain Management (SCM)
  • Import-Export
  • Customs & Bonded Warehouse Management
 
Experience Requirement
7 to 10 years of relevant experience
Proven experience in commercial operations within:
  • FMCG manufacturing industry
  • Large group of companies
Strong hands-on experience with LC, customs, VAT, and import-export processes
